This week I am featuring one of my Favorite Country Music Duos, their songs have just that perfect “From the Ground Up” feeling that leave you “Speechless”.  This week we are looking to “Show You Off” Dan + Shay! Seems appropriate that I will be “Road Trippin’”, to see you this week in Minnesota at The Armory. So excited to see you on stage again!

Billboard featured a look back article in December 2018 which featured this amazing duo. They have had such success with “Tequila” and then “Speechless” off their self-titled album Dan + Shay, I am so excited to see what their next release will be. Having purchased the album, the day it was released I have so many favorites. I think song that that I am excited to have on the radio is "Alone Together", this is my #2 song on my daily playlist.

The first time I was able to witness this amazing duo was at Country Fest in Cadott WI. I remember it well because we were standing in line to get into the pit and if anyone has been to Country Fest you know that you have to get in line early and unfortunately you have to kind of miss the current performers on stage but I clearly remember watching these two rock it out on stage on the big screen in a downpour of rain..  Truly the love of the music, their wives and their fans make Dan + Shay who they are today.

My second experience with Dan + Shay was at Ashley For theArts in Arcadia WI, we arrived early and stood in 100-degree temperatures all day as close to stage as possible. The crowd was phenomenal, it was I think the most emotionally moving concert that I have witnessed. Thousands of people singing “Tequila” and “Speechless” I can’t even image the emotion and energy that these two must have felt on stage.

I am looking forward to watching these two continue to climb the country and pop charts! A true match made in the music world that has no limit to their potential. Next up for me? I will be seeing them on Friday night, and yes I will be standing in line early to get that front of the stage view!!
